Terms for the public Happy Orbis platform, community and digital Ocean Gifts.

MAŃSKI s.r.o. is the legal operator of Happy Orbis and the seller of Ocean Gifts.
Service and operator
MAŃSKI s.r.o. operates Happy Orbis as an environmental initiative connecting science, people and action through environmental data, community, expert participation and documented projects. It is not an investment platform, startup marketplace or financial service. Paid professional work requires a separate agreement.
Accounts and responsible use
Community membership is free. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify us of suspected misuse. Do not impersonate people, misrepresent qualifications, bypass access restrictions, disrupt the service, scrape private data, send spam or post unlawful material. Purchases must be made by an adult with permission to provide recipient details. A membership or payment does not confer expert verification, an environmental award or ownership rights in an animal.
Community content and moderation
You remain responsible for your posts, replies, photographs, avatar, events and other submissions, and must have the rights needed to share them. You retain your rights and grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, display and technically adapt your submissions only as needed to operate the service and apply your publication choices. Do not publish confidential information, harassment, threats, unlawful content or unsupported claims of verification. We may hide or remove content, close discussions or restrict access for rule violations, security or legal reasons. Report issues through the available report function or hello@happyorbis.com, identifying the content and reason. You may request a review of moderation by email. Scientific information and intellectual property
Observations, historical reconstructions, modelled scenarios and interpretations have different evidential status. Read source, date, units, coverage and uncertainty information. Data can contain gaps or be revised. The platform does not replace professional assessment, environmental permits, medical advice or vessel navigation. Blue Route is an educational sensitivity model, not a route planner or verified emissions report. Research concepts do not establish deployed equipment or achieved outcomes. Restoration guidance is a research framework, not a site-specific recommendation or a verified calculation of intervention benefits. Community publication does not constitute independent verification. Public financial registers contain the published records and do not constitute audited financial statements. Source datasets and photographs remain subject to their own licences and attribution requirements; provider names do not imply endorsement. Happy Orbis branding, software and original content are protected. A digital gift may be downloaded, printed and shared for its intended personal gifting use; no exclusive rights to species images are transferred.
Ocean Gifts and payments
Ocean Gifts are one-time commercial purchases of personalised digital gifts, not charitable donations or investments. The selected price and applicable tax are shown before payment. Stripe handles secure checkout. Fulfilment follows verified payment; failed or unpaid orders do not issue a valid certificate. Statutory exceptions to the 14-day withdrawal right may apply to digital content supplied following separate express consent and acknowledgement. The Ocean Gifts purchase terms and Refund Policy below contain the single detailed rule for delivery, withdrawal and complaints and form part of these terms. Purchasing a gift does not guarantee a measurable environmental result.
Availability, changes and closure
We may update features and source coverage and interrupt service for maintenance or security. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every user submission is verified. We will not use a service change to remove rights already acquired under a paid order. Material changes to these terms are published with a new date; purchases are governed by the terms accepted when ordered. You may stop using the service or request account closure by email. Records subject to legal retention or legitimate claims may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Liability, law and disputes
You are responsible for evaluating whether information is suitable for your intended use. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights, liability that cannot legally be excluded, or remedies for defective digital content. Czech law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection in their country of habitual residence. Contact hello@happyorbis.com first with a complaint. Eligible consumer disputes may be submitted to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority through coi.gov.cz. This does not restrict access to competent courts.
